Alcohol Fat Scale: Which Drinks Make You Fat and Which Drinks Don’t
No doubt we all love to have a little sip every now and then, and again, and again. So, if you must, at least try and avoid it all going straight to your gut – nothing is more attractive than someone with a nice chiseled face, strong arms and a beer belly. There are some ways to avoid getting fat, even if you like the occasional drink! Below are some of the healthier alcoholic drinks to partake in, although the least fattening would be none at all!
1. Bacardi, Vodka, Gin – These are your best bang for your buck type of drinks if you’re trying to have a good time without hurting your waistline. A diet coke and Bacardi rum is about 100 calories, which compared to other alcoholic drinks, is a steal. So line em’ up!

2. Tequila – This one is no shocker to anyone, mostly because you drink tequila alone without additional chasers or sugary additives. A tequila shot runs about 80 calories. Slim if you take it alone but may wreak havoc on your brain, liver and significant other. Use with extreme caution.
3. Wine – This is on the list because wine in moderation is actually good for you. It may not be the best in terms of callories and carbs, but the antioxidants bring it up the list in terms of overall health.
4. Beer – Who’s next on the beer pong table!? There is a reason beer gives you a beer gut, first, because it’s packed with calories and second, because it’s packed with carbohydrates. Frat boys can get away with drinking it like water because they are young, generally keep fit and have a healthy metabolism. You, on the other hand, probably don’t have these advantages, so I would recommend keeping your beers to a minimum!
The key to all of this is to drink in moderation. Everybody likes a few drinks, but when you over do it you’re hurting your head as well as your waste. As with anything else, moderation is key!
